Government Relations

PMI maintains government relations offices in Sydney, Australia, Brussels, Belgium, Walnut Creek, CA, and Washington, D.C., United States. The government relations team follows new developments to enable PMI and its customers, as well as regulators and legislators, to develop flexible and innovative solutions to extend mortgage lending around the world. PMI's government relations group meets frequently with policy makers worldwide to help legislators and regulators better understand the significant role PMI and mortgage insurance play in the global financial markets. PMI advocates affordable housing solutions on all continents in which it operates and provides a valuable and unique perspective to public policy discussions aimed at increasing the availability of mortgage funds to greater segments of the population.
